    How do I flag a customer file to make sure they get an email reminding them to make an appointment in the future?

    Hello BVS,

    Here's my answer. You can definitely do that by using List Builder feature to easily generate a list of customers based on your criteria, and then send an email template with the appropriate information.

    But in order to use List Bulider, I would suggest that you use TAGS for the customer you  would like to email so it will be easy to add them while using List Builder.

    In order to tag customer, Take note of the customers that you would like to email. Then go to the Customers > Customers and Contacts Listscreen, search for each of the customers, and click the Go To... link to the left of their name. When in the Edit Customerscreen, scroll to the bottom and select the Contacts tab. Select the main contact from the list here and click on the Edit Contact... link to the left of their name. In the top left of the screen that pops up you should see a tag icon. Hover over it and in the box that appears enter a name that you will use to identify this group of customers that you will be emailing, then click the Create button. Hover over the tag icon once more and check the box to the left of the tag you've just created, then click the Save & Close button. Repeat this process for the rest of the customers you want to email (for these customers just check the box to the left of the tag, you will not have to create the tag again).

    Once you accopmlist that,

    1) Go to Campaigns -> List Builder

    2) Under the Step 1: Fill your list tab, click on Fill list with Contacts or if you are using MailChimp you can click on Use Mailchimp. Method will then give you options for filtering your contacts,you can select the TAGS filtering option click on Include Contacts option and select the tags created above. Once you filter list according to your need click on Insert Contacts and it will create a list of customers.

    3) Under Step 2: Edit your Listyou can edit the contact list by removing the contacts if you want.

    3) Go through each step. Step 3 will allow you to create an Activity(optional) for those customers, and Step 4 will allow you to send them an email(optional). 

    *Note: Don't forget to check Add Activity? and Send email using template?

    4) Process the list (create activites / send emails) by clicking Process List on Step 5.
