All tags not showing

    All tags not showing

    I am trying to add tags to my contacts, but the tag list is not displaying all of the tags that I have

    Hi Jen,

    The link you posted is broken so I am unable to see exactly what you are having issues with. Tags that you create will only show up for the specific table you created them on. If you did not create the tag for contacts, but you created it for an opportunity for example, you will not see this tag in contacts. To add a new tag, simply hover your cursor over the tag icon and select “Create new tags”.

    Ok. Thanks! for some reason it wasn't letting me scroll to see the rest of the tags below the first few. 


    I have another Tag question though :)

    I would like to add the tag list option that is in the edit contact screen to the New Lead Screen. I followed the instructions in the help center article: "Any table can support tags. Simply create a field with the reserved name of "TagList". It is recommended you set the length of the field to 4000 characters." see below: 

    But when I go to the actual screen it looks like this instead of the list menu. Help!

    Hi Jen.  I just tried this and it worked for me.  Can you see if you missed any of these steps?

    1.  Go to the Customize tab.  Click on the Tables/Fields tab link.

    2.  For the Customer table click on the Edit Fields...

    3.  Add a new field that has a Field Type of Text and a Size of 4000 characters.  Called it TagList.

    4.  Customize your scren.  In the list of fields in the Add Fields tab on the left you should now see a field called TagList.  Add this to the screen.

    For #4 you need to add the field TagList.  Adding a textbox from the Add Objects tab and naming it "TagList" will not work.
