Last week my hrad drive failed and I moved my QuickBooks file to a laptop temporarily. When I tried installed the Method engine on the laptop and tried to access my company file, I think I ended up establishing a new user account, and some of the transactions in my Method file appear to have been duplicated.
Anyway, I am now getting ready to move back to my main computer, with a totally new hard drive, and want to make sure I do this transition the right way. Can you publish the steps required when moving the Quickbooks file to a new computer to get re-established with Method without some of the troubles I experienced?
