Re-assigning an Opportunity to a Different Lead or Customer

Is it possible to move (or re-assign) an Opportunity from one Customer/Lead to a different Customer/Lead?

And, is it possible to actually "merge" two different customers/leads?

    Thank you

    Hello davewalter,

Yes, it is possible to re-assign an Opportunity to other Customer/Lead by simply selecting a diiferent Customer/Lead from the Contact dropdown on the Edit Opportunity Screen. Coming to your next question about merging two customers/leads in Method is not possible. But you can merge two different customers in Quickbooks and sync it back to Method.

To merge two Customers in QuickBooks:

    - Click the Customer Center.

    - Click the Customers & Jobs tab.

    - Double- click the customer or job you don't want to use.

    - In the Edit window, change the custoemr or job name(at the top of the window) to the same as the entry you are combining it with.

    - Click OK.

    - Click yes confirm that you want to merge the two names under the same name.

    Hope this helps!
