The insert record into table action loses the "value from loop" values when when you come back into the action to edit something.

To correct this, I need to Open the Loop through grid action then come back into the insert record into table action an update the values. 

This can be a bit of a pain when you have a number of fields.

I've tried replicating this but have been unable to. I have a button that loops through a grid on screen and added an Insert Into Table action. The attached screenshot shows this insert action. I have run the screen and edited the Insert action several times without losing the value highlighted in the screenshot. 

I'm assuming you have a more elaborate setup than I do, so perhaps that's playing a role. Can you give me more information about what's on your particular button, so that I can more closely replicate it?

Try inserting at least 10 to 12 fields.

Still unable to replicate this error.

I have created a screen with over 12 fields, and multiple actions. The Loop value in a Insert to Table action does not lose its value.

Anything else I can add to my screen you think that I am missing? I'll give it another shot.

I discovered if I open the Loop first, then it is not a problem.

I'll keep you postedwhen I encounter it again
