The Vendor and Contact notes field should be exposed on the contact app. In Method classic, we use these alot

Here's my answer. By default it is not available on Method:New, but you can achieve this by creating a copy of your Edit Conatct screen and Contact list screen and adding Note field to Edit Contact screen and inserting the Note field into the column on the Contacts grid on Contact list screen.

I followed Inder's instructions. I went to update a note this morning and the note would not save.

I had to remove the note field and add it back to the screen to get it to work. Just thought I would pass this along.

Hello Mahlon,

  Thanks for letting us know.  I am getting an error when I modify my screens to test.  Where you getting an error message on Save or was the data not updating?

   I'm getting another person to test this.  I am able to make a change to the note field and have the changes save. On the other hand, I get an error after the data is saved.  I'll need to test it on another account.

Greg asked me to test this and get back to you about my results. I have added the notes field and so far haven't been able to replicate the inability to save/update the notes. Was this the first time you experienced this happening and has it happened since you changed removed and readded the notes field?
