    Button size

Is there a way to control button size?

I have 5 buttons next to each other in one cell but the 5th one goes into a second line because they are to wide, can I make them smaller?

    Hi Marcelo11756

You can control the button padding, color and shape through the Display screen found under Customize > Display.

What you might find more useful if you aren't doing this already is setting the buttons to display across the width of two or more cells. You can do this by following the steps below:

Step 1Choose the screen you wish to customize and edit it. Please note that you can't undo changes so it is good to get into the habit of taking a copy of the screen before making changes. Let's say you have 3 columns at the moment and the buttons are in the third column.

Step 2 - Drag all of the buttons into the second column

Step 3 - Click the little two way arrow button at the top of one of the button objects in the cell. This will expand the cell content across the width of two cells.

Step 4 - It should end up looking something like this.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

I have the screen divided in 5 rows, and I want to put 5 buttons in 1 cell, but only 4 fit and the 5th one goes into another line

That i why I wanted to know if I can make the buttons smaller to fit that last one in the same line

    Answer

    Hi Marcelo,

If the buttons are the only thing on the last row or  at least the cell next to them is empty then following the steps above will keep them all in the same cell ie. next to each other. It will effectively merge the two cells into one which should allow all 5 buttons to be shown on one line.

This was the result of 3 columns with just default button names.

And 5 columns with longer button names (excuse the poor screen formatting and small image).

Let me know if that doesn't work for you or you have further questions.
