    Data Import Question

    I'm doing some testing with importing data - right now just testing bringing in a single test customer record, associated contact record, etc.  Is it possible to submit a support request to Method for a table to be backed up prior to a major import, and can that table be restored if an import fails or is interrupted for some reason?

    Hi Mike,

    If you're going to be importing using our Import / Export Tool and the import fails, the record simply won't be added to the table. If it succeeds and you'd like to delete the record, you will be able to delete it (assuming you haven't added any transactions for it). If you'd like to back up your table anyway, you can do so by exporting it using the Import / Export Tool (for which we have this Help Center article).
