    question about BillLineItem:LinkToPurchaseOrder

    Hi,

    I have a question about LinkToPurchaseOrder field in BillLineItem Table. This field actually is RecordID to purchaseorderline table (according to the tooltip of that field.) However, if I want to add some linked field via this "LinkToPurchaseOrder", I can not see all fields, just some linked RecordID.

    However, if I add my own field (ex "Test") which is same (a RecordID to PurchaseOrderLine Table), I can see all fields and add linked field via it. 

    The question is, what is wrong with "LinkToPurchaseOrder" field? Can I delete it and use my own one? will it cause any issue while sync back to QBs?

    And, I found that I can not delete the new create "test" field from BillLineItem, what should I do to remove this new create field?

    Hi Alex,

    The fields listed here as only FieldName_RecordID are already linked into the BillLineItem table by their other identifier.

    Do not delete any of the stock Method fields, you will almost certainly get errors.

    What kind of error message are you getting when attempting to delete your test field?

    Hi Justin,

    Thanks. There is no delete button for this new created field (in my case, "test" field).

    Try regenerating the table, or logging out and back in. If that doesn't work, you can call our support line at 1.888.925.6238 x.2 and we'll take a look with you. You could also just leave it there if it doesn't bother you, it shouldn't cause any problems.
