Issues since one-sign in

    Issues since one-sign in

    I have been experiencing some issues since the launch of one sign in method new yesterday morning.

    I haven't completely been able to identify a pattern. There are times when I randomly get kicked out, and then it tries to log back in again and seems to just go around in circles.

    Using chrome browser, and yes I did clear cache, etc.

    I might also mention that I often have two company accounts open. My own and a client account that I'm working on.

    The only way I can get it rectified is to close my browser and sign back in again

    Hi Mahlon,

    We are aware of this issue and are currently looking into it. Would you be able to email me a list of the times you've run into this? It may help us to narrow down the problem.

    Probably 10 or 12 times yesterday. And again three or four times today.

    Seems like it happens when a screen is trying to refresh

    Haven't really been able to determine a pattern. I'll let you know as I find out more

    Any updates on this?

    One observation I had is when you click the back button that has been assigned go back in history with the alternate screen as dashboard.

    Hi Mahlon,

    Were you able to write down any of the times which this has occurred? Let me know, it might help us to narrow down the issue.

    Also, have you tried with a different browser?

    It is happening frequently. I have not kept a log of the times as to when this happens.

    I often run with two browser windows open and logged into two different method accounts. Would this make a difference?

    Hi Justin,

      I just had a customer call me with this issue as well whereby her day is filled with 15+ messages that she has been timed out and when she goes back to log in - it tells her that she is already logged in, then in order to deal with it, she has to Log Out completely and log back in.   These issues started with the new sign-in screen and session timing outs now becoming chronic.  I have PDF's of the error messages - I can't seem to upload documents here so if you want to receive them please email me privately and I will attach to that.

    Hi Beth,

    Before Single Sign-In, we were allowing multiple sessions to be logged in to Method:New as the same user. This is now no longer the case. Can you confirm that your customer is not logging in to Method as the same user as someone else?

    Justin,

      I did confirme that. yesterday..she is sitting at same computer all day - no other devices log-in.   She is using Mozilla as a browser. - Beth
