Importing pages to new account

    Importing pages to new account

    I am trying to import pages from our old account to new account. I have about 20 pages of the (FieldService_ ) pages to import to my new account. I keep geting an error which I have attached. It looks like while the pages are the same the "app" has changed. How do I get around this without losing 20 plus pages of customization?

    Hi thesolarguys,

    Can you provide me with a full list of the screens that throw this error when copying? I’ll have to investigate if it is possible for us to “detach” the screen from the app, allowing you to copy it to Method.

    Here is a list of the pages on my account I want to transfer. These are the names they are called in my account (thesolarguys). Thanks

    Hi thesolarguys,

    I’ve opened and raised a ticket with our development team to investigate. I’m unsure what kind of work will be involved with this, but it may take some time to complete. I’ll keep you posted on any updates via this thread, but unfortunately, I can’t provide you with an ETA.

    Any updates? I really want to copy several pages to my new account so I don't have to waste days recreating them on a new account.

    Hi thesolarguys,

    I did originally raise this ticket, but it must have been taken down due to some higher priority issues at the time. I’ll re-raise the ticket and see if I can get you an update shortly. Sorry about the wait and thanks for your patience.

    Edit: Actually, this may work now. Try copying one of the screens again and let me know the result. If it's still an issue, I'll re-raise the ticket as I mentioned above.

    I'm still getting the following message...

    "You have not imported the 'QXpress Online' app from the Method App Library (under My Account), which is the app this screen is based on. You must first import the 'QXpress Online' app before you are able to import this screen."

    Sorry that this took so long to be addressed. Our development team has fixed the preferences on these screens so you should be good to go now. Please post back if you still have any concerns regarding this.
