Is it possible to create a chart with columns grouped by date?

Example new leads this week grouped by date.

I can groupd by type, etc but the date field value also includes time.

It looks like we’re missing the “compare as” option when grouping chart data by DateTime fields. Due to this, it’s basically impossible to group your data using a DateTime field. I created a feature request ticket so that our development team can investigate the possibility of adding this functionality.

The ticket I created for this is a feature request, as it’s a new feature that would need to be added to the charts functionality. I can’t provide an ETA, but I don’t think that this will be implemented in the near future. I recommend looking into a work-around for the time being.

Not sure If I was just misunderstanding the Dialog here - But after going back and testing myself, It looks like we've already added the 'Compare As' For DateTime fields on Chart objects.

That being said - I think your initial question was more along the lines of "How do I display DateTime as JUST Date, without the TIME element" - This woulds till take a workaround to implement properly.

Use case: Activity Types by Month

Try creating a chart on activities where Series = Activity and Secondary Column = DueDateStart and try to group by month, year, etc
