Question: New to QBO and New to Method- which customer import method makes the most sense?

    Question: New to QBO and New to Method- which customer import method makes the most sense?

    Hi there,

    We are currently doing a trial of both QBO and Method and like the simplicity of both systems. That said, I'm curious to know which import process would be better:

    Import our customers into QB to be synced with Method

    -or-

    Import our customers and all of their information into Method and sync with QB?

    I'm thinking the latter would be a better option since we can import SO much more data.

    Advice?

    Hey Sarah,

    Since our sync is bi-directional you can take either route that works better for you.

    Using Method you can add extra fields you needed in a Table and import to those new fields. Method has a lot more fields that QBO does not have out of the box. 

    If you did import via QBO you can always update and re-import using Method after.
