Intuit announced plans to discontinue their QuickBooks Desktop REST API and Intuit Sync Manager service as of March 2016. We wanted to confirm that this does not impact Method.
Method’s QuickBooks Desktop sync engine does not utilize the QuickBooks Desktop REST API or the Sync Manager service. So, if your Method account is connected to your QuickBooks Desktop account, you can rest assured your data will continue to sync without interruption.
To integrate with QuickBooks Desktop, the Method Integration Sync Engine utilizes the QuickBooks Software Development Kit (SDK). This SDK is a set of tools for third-party developers to create QuickBooks Desktop applications and continues to be supported by Intuit.
