How do create an "All" option in a drop down filter

I am trying to create a chart that filters by the stage of the opportunity.  I have successfully done this, but I am unable to find a way to add an "All Stages" option to the drop down that would essentially disregard the filter and show all opportunities regardless of stage.

    Any help is appreciated,

    Mike

    Hi Mike,

Could I grab a little more detail about what the chart is displaying currently? My thoughts are that you have a Chart object on your screen in method, and have a dropdown on the screen containing the stages of your opportunity. Im assuming the chart then filters (Based on Step 2 of 4: Filter Options of the chart object) by OpportunityStage based on the value of this DropDown. Am I correct so far?

Would I be able to see a screenshot of the chart/filters if possible?

    Thanks Mike!

    Regards,

    Ben

    Ben,

Yes, that is correct.  I currently have 2 filters on the home page.  One for user and one for stage.  I would like an "All Users" option in the users dropdown and an "All Stages" option in the stage dropdown.  I will email you a screen shot since this editor only support image URLs.  If you could point me to instructions on how to do this I would appreciate it.

    Thanks,

    Tate

You can upload your images to http://imgur.com/ (its free) and then paste them here so that I can take a look at them.

    Hey Tate,

Adding an all option to the Users drop down will not work as the drop down pulls the list from the users table. The easiest way to select all of the users is to have a checkbox and when checked, will loop through the list of users and then input the list into the report. When the checkbox is not checked then it will use the drop original users drop down. You can use the same idea for the stages drop down.
