Cant see transactions older than 30 days/sync issues

    Cant see transactions older than 30 days/sync issues

    My concern is estimates as our sales cycle is a long one, our estimates sit for 3-6 months before closing. I went to Quickbooks tab>transaction history and changed it to 365 days, and changed each item under that to 365, synced and still no transactions older than 365 days.

    On a seprate note, we have done our initial sync and I am getting permission errors when I run the sync. Since I work from a laptop at the office, my laptop is home so I can not run the sync from my laptop. I have a desktop PC I remote desktop into to access QB. I opened QB on the remote desktop and installed the Method engine there, and reset my sync PC in Method to that PC. When I run the snyc there are some notes in the log that I dont have permission. I am Method Admin but do not maintain full QB rights. Is this an issue? The only method user with full QB admin rights does not leave his PC running.

    Is this the possible issue or do I need to look elsewhere to get my older estimates?

    Hey Vectra3,

    If you set the transaction history it will only show the past transactions that took place in the last 365 days. if you need older transactions then you will have to increase it to 730

    You need to have administrative permissions on the computer that you install the Method Integrated Engine on and also be QB admin when you first sync otherwise Method will not be able to gain the correct permissions in QuickBooks.
