I have a custom textbox field in the Customer table . It is 8 lines that we input info into. We press enter on the keyboard to dropdown to start a new line in the textbox. The new line saves but when I share the field it looks like all the formating spaces/new lines get lost. I even tried to retrieve the infromation using the retrieve value from table and it doesn't copy over the formating. Is there a work around?

I am not aware of any other work arounds. I would try to keep the formating of the textbox and the number of lines  the same if you were trying to display it some where else as it retains the spaces propery.

Sorry I made the last post a little too soon. I may have found you a workaround.

In the advanced options for the text box, you can choose to make the textbox an HTML editor. This will allow him to save the spaces. What's happening is that the regular textbox doesn't automatically put the HTML in the field, so the result is truncated text saved to the field. If you makes the textbox an HTML editor, this will put the HTML tags for spacing in the field so that it shows with spaces on a grid or when viewing onscreen.
