    Checkboxes & Report Designer

I have checkboxes in a workorder that want to reflect into a route sheet.  In report designer, the checkboxes only shows up as true/false. Is there any conditional formatting that can be done to only fill in on the space of the report designer if the checkbox is checked?

    - i.e.  If the checkbox is checked, then the space will say "yes" on the report.  If the checkbox is not checked, then the space will remain blank.

    Answer

    Hi InstaDRY,

You can accomplish this by adding a label to your report with the text 'yes'. Then set the label's Visibility to No in Properties under Behavior.

Now create a formatting rule, which you will apply to the label. The rule will set the label's Visibility to Yes if the field is set to True. You can generate this rule using the Condition Editor. It will look something like: [IsTrue] == True. The label will only be displayed if the value of your field is True. I hope this helps.
