Error Message: 'Action Execution Failed' when adding new contact.... inserting a record into the table accEntity of database

    Error Message: 'Action Execution Failed' when adding new contact.... inserting a record into the table accEntity of database

    Whilst entering a new contact into the system, we received the following error:

    Action Execution Failed

    The Click event for Save failed to complete.
    Message: *An error occurred while inserting a record into the table accEntity of database SUMInnovation. String or binary data would be truncated. The statement has been terminated.
    Stack Trace:#1 - Action Set (SaveBASE_onClick), #2 - Condition, #4 - Condition (If), #1 - InsertRecordIntoTable (If)
    Please verify and try again. If the problem persists please contact Method Technical Support.

    The Method account is new and these contacts do not exist in the system already.  It seems to be a bit random as to who can be entered and who cannot.

    Not sure what to do.

    Hey,

    It might be that you are entering too many characters for the Contacts name. Which has a character limit set by QuickBooks.

    Please try decreasing the character count, follow up with the results.
