Hi there, 

Do you have any good tutorials on how to add a drop down field to a screen? 

I'm currently in the process of creating a new dropdown field under our New Opportunities screen called "Customer Discounts" (obviously to keep track of any discounts we've provided to our customers)... I've created a new dropdown field under our Opportunities table and have called it Discounts. I've created several options under this field for the user to choose from.

When I add the discount drop down field to the screen and add properties to it (i.e. I select the Opportunities Table and Discount Fields) and publish the screen... when I go back to use the dropdown on the screen, it's completely blank.

Any ideas on why?

Hi Justin,

Sounds like most of what you are doing sounds correct, but I have an idea what might be going wrong here. 

How are you actually adding the dropdown object to the screen in question? It sounds like you are adding a generic Dropdown, and configuring it to reference your 'Customer Discount' field. If this Dropdown has already been added to the Opportunity table, you should see it show up under the 'Add Fields' Tab under the Left hand Toolbox on the customize screen and you can just drag and drop it onto the screen! (the field highlighted in the Red box is the dropdown I added to the opportunity table to demonstrate)

If ive misunderstood, let me know and Ill be happy to walk you through it a little more thoroughly.
