Method Community

Currently when you push an email through the outlook plugin, it shows up as a completed task but with nothing in the comments.  It would be nice if i didn't have to click on the activity to view the message and have it appear in the comments.  Is that possible with the plug in?   with the google gadget i think its called "autofill comments"

You certainly can add the Email information directly into the Comments!

When Adding the Activity to Method From the Outllok Plugin, Just Copy the information contained in the "Email Message" field, into the "Comments" Field

After you've done this, The added activity in method will contain the Email body in the Comments!

i get copy and paste sure.  but in the google gadget its a check box and is automated.  its already a 3 step process to add an email with the plugin, just didn't want to make a 4th.  

Hi Micahk,

The Outlook plugin is something we are looking to revisit and invest some development resources in in the near future. Not just small function tweaks, but an entire overhaul.

I agree that this would be a worthwhile addition to the next version of our OutLook plugin, and will make sure to pass this on to the team.
