Merged records losing activities

    Merged records losing activities

    Hi all,

    We have a new Method user who has been challenged by the search function. When she can't find a customer or lead, she enters it again. Either that or she creates a new record in Quickbooks rather than looking for the existing record in Method. We're getting quite proficient at merging customers in Quickbooks, which is fine, but the existing activities keep getting deleted. Any ideas on how to avoid losing the history?

    Hi Bonnie,

    Hmm thats a strange one. When you merge a Customer in QuickBooks, the Assigned activities should merge together with the customer in Method.

    Perhaps you can shoot me an email at success@method.me with some more detail - perhaps some examples of merged customers with missing activities - and Ill jump in and take a look.
