We mail out thank yous to our donors on a custom printed, folded 4x5 card. Is there any way to format for that in Method?

Sorry for the late reply here. You could design a PDF using the Report Designer and print the PDF. In the Report Designer, you can set the paper size on the report settings and likely get the right size.

Keep in mind we do have a dedicated Professional Services team who is here to help if you would like any Reports designed!

Why no Mac version? This makes Method less practical for us, obviously.

How much would it cost to have you design a report for us? We're on a pretty tight budget.

The Report Designer is Windows-only for a few reasons. Firstly, to develop a version of RD for Mac would require an enitrely new program built from the ground up, which would require Significant development resource investment - its not quite as simple as flicking a switch.

This being said - certainly not ruling out future iterations of Report Designer including a Mac version. You wouldn't be the first person to request this!

Regarding having someone from the team design a report for you - This would entirely depend on the complexity and requirements of the Report. Check out the Consulting Services page for more info about costs involved.

You really only have listed a single reason: Your team thinks it would be too expensive. Maybe so.

Another reason may be that Method is an app that runs in symbiosis with QuickBooks. QB is literally the only tool I use that does not have a full-featured equivalent version for the Mac platform. Maybe that creates an assumption for developers that Mac users do not need to be a very high priority?
