Hello,

I am having a small issue with my Work Order screen. When I open a new work order all the default values are generated properly in the fields I have directed. However, after a "save and new", "cancel", etc. button is pressed, the next new work order will not have the default values generated thus requiring manual entry of each field. If I log out of Method and back in, the default values will generate upon a new work order.

Can you give me some more details or specifics on this? How are you setting these default values?

Hey Michael,

I am setting DEFAULT VALUEs in the first page of the FIELD PROPERTIES window. That is the info that will not generate automatically when a new form is opened.

Example Steps that I take:

1) Log into Method  2) Select New Work Order  3) Fill out required fields on screen  4) Print  5) Save and New  6)When new screen loads, default values do not generate

What browser are you using? Are you by any chance using any on screen load actions that might be overriding the defaults?

I created a copy of the Add / Edit Work Orders screen and set default text and it was loading each time. What type of fields are you setting default values for?
