Changing the date format in a report
You can change the date format to only show the date and not the time by changing the format string for the field. To do this open the report from the report designer and click once on the field you want to change. Click the arrow just above the field to get into the properties and make the changes where it says Format String. Save the report and you should be set.
Changing the date format on emails that are sent through Method
If you take a look at the Date Function action one of its function is Format Date, you can format the date so it doesn't show time and then use that formatted date in your emails.
