Portals aren't meant for a single customer to login but instead allow all active customers to login. However, each portal has the ability to have a field indicated that allows active logins. To change this, follow the steps below.

Click Customize > Portals.

Click Edit next to the portal you’d like to edit.

For Field indicating sign-in is Active, you can choose the field in your table that tells the portal if the user is able to login or not. For the default contacts portal, we use the “Is Active” field which allows only active customers to login to the portal.
