    Default Email Preferences

    I am trying to change my default email settings under the "my account" tab in Method and receive this error:

    "The test email failed to send. Your settings have not been saved. Please edit the setings and try again. Here is the response we received from your email server:

    The operation has timed out."

    I just setup the exact same email address as POP3 in Gmail and it worked fine. Is there something I am doing wrong? I have checked the username, password, and server address. They all are the same that I used to setup POP3 in Gmail. Can someone help?

    UPDATE: I actually figured it out, BUT, it does not work when we want to use SSL. Can someone help with that?

    Hi rbsom, 

    Please go Here for our "Method CRM Help Center" article titled "Specify your Email Provider" which will give you the instructions to succcessfully setup your e-mail settings within Method.
