    QuickBooks Invoices

I have a client that is looking for two specific needs. I believe Method can solve for thier needs, but not 100% sure and I am looking for some guidance.

    1. I have a need to be able to add the number of items on a QB invoices and enter that number of items in a custom field on the invoice.

    2. I need to alphabatize the items on an invoice before it prints out.

Please let me know if these items can be done and if they can what kind of time frame that it would be do create the changes.

    Thanks

    Hi Robin

This can definitely be done.  It shouldn't take more the a few hours consulting time.  Will the invoices be printed from QuickBooks or Method.?

    Hi Robin,

I have a need to be able to add the number of items on a QB invoices and enter that number of items in a custom field on the invoice.

This is possible with a little customization - we support custom fields from QB or you can build your own table to store this information inside Method.

I need to alphabatize the items on an invoice before it prints out.

This would require customization through the Report Designer, you should be able to re-order/re-sort your invoice line items.

As for an estimate on the workyou may want to speak with a consultant on staff since the customization may need to factor in other criteria.
