sub customer feature not working in QBO

    sub customer feature not working in QBO

    Greetings,

    Property management co that has 4 properties. I have one customer as the office then i have 4 customers that are the job sites

    For the job site customers i check the box and choose the office customer or main customer.  Been doing it this way for years.

    This customer is a sub-customer?

    Its not saving. Is this working on your end?

    Tried this on Dec and Nov versions

    UPDATE: got it work but i have to go into quickbooks and check the sub customer field.

    Hi John,

    So when you're creating a job site in Method it doesn't work? You have to manually go into QBO and enable the sub customer option? I am unable to replicate this issue. Created a sub customer in Method and performed a Full Sync, went to QBO and it shows correctly as a sub customer.

    I did what you did and I cant do a full sync it says aborted 

    A Sync failed with Intuit Anywhere. An unknown error has occurred. Here's the response from Intuit that only geeks will understand: GetBaseURIFromUserRequest: Error: OAuth service is temporarily unavailable. xoauth_service_unavailable(detail One or more dependent services was down. )

    Full sync is working now. 

    I did what you did and it is still not working.When  you click the save/back button you can see the check mark going away before the screen changes.

    Received clarification from our dev team. This is not an issue with Method, but a limitation with the QuickBooks API. You can create a customer and make it sub customer during the creation process but once it's saved, the sub customer information cannot be added/changed/removed in Method. This limitation does not exist with the QuickBooks Desktop SDK however. Hope this clarifies things for you.
