Grid Cell Alignment Override Not Working

While working with columns in a grid, I've noticed in the Advanced options for each grid column there is a property for Cell Alignment Override. I've manually switched most of these to "Center", but so far none of the values in the cells have actually aligned to the center. Am I misunderstanding the function of this property or might it be broken?

    Answer

    Hi JohnnyW,

The Cell Alignment Override feature will not work on editable grids; it will work on read-only grids. I've just tested and confirmed that it's working as designed. Can you advise whether or not your grid is editable on the screen?

Re: Grid Cell Alignment Override Not Working

    Ashur,

You are correct. All of my fields were editable and so none were centered. I then added a link to the grid, which centered properly. I also modified one of my editable fields to make it read only. Once I did this, that field also centered properly.

    Thank you for your response.
