    Report Designer

    I am looking to edit the default invoice report so that I can include a list of related work orders as line items. The format I'm hoping for is...

    Invoice xyz
      Line one
      Line two
      Line three
       Work Order 1
       Work Order 2
       Work Order 3
    Sub Total
    Vat
    Total


    Just wanted to check this is possible before I start editing tables and screens .

    Hi Andy,

    Something like this is possible.  What is the end goal here though? What information from the work order do you wish to show?  Also remember that you'll also need to link the appropriate tables together so that they can be used in the report.

    Adam,

    when generating an invoice report we would like to list all the work orders associated with that invoice. So when creating an invoice from a work order that work order will be displayed on the invoice (work order number, description, date end etc...).

    Andy,

    That is definitely possible.  You'll need to create a link between the Activities table and the Invoice table.
