Method Community

I created a custom text box on the estimates screen. I can enter things into that text box and it prints just fine. My problem is that on some occasions I need to start my text with several spaces and then write my text. When I save and close my esimate and then reopen it, Method automatically deltes those spaces that are in front of my text. Any way to tell method to keep it just the way I typed it?

I've tried to figure out a way to accomplish this, but haven't as of yet so I'm not sure if it's possible. Why do you need to add spaces before the text? Is it for an estimate print? If so, it may be easier to just move the fields on the estimate report over a touch. Let me know if this works for you.

You can get leading spaces to 'stick' in a field in Method by using the HTML code for a space.  Instead of typing spaces, type   (ampersand-n-b-s-p-semicolon) for each space you want.  Method will read the code as a space and save the entry with the leading spaces.  The code will not appear in the saved entry.  I just tested it and it worked.
