    Link/Webhook into Customer/Lead Search

    Is there some way to link directly to the customer search?

    I'm looking for something like this...

    https://www.methodintegration.com/method/search.aspx?phone=619-246-0492

    What I want to do is give our sales team a quick way of finding contacts when they call in and I can generate the URL above replacing the value for phone number.

    Hi Brian,

    I don't believe what you're asking is possible. You might find the Create Short Method URL action useful though. This action will create a unique URL that will direct your users to a specific tab link or screen in Method. You can even specify a screen RecordID. Hope this helps!

    Can you explain a little further what you are trying to search for and where? There might be another solution depending on what exactly you're trying to do.

    Brian,

    I am looking to do something similar. I have considered an outside end point that interacts with the Method API. We use RingCentral as a phone system and may be able to use their CTI (softphone) product to trigger our search.

    Please share any progress.

    Ideally, we would be able to do something like many other CRM's do with the leading phone systems and would launch the customer record on the match of the incoming caller ID. Is that what you are after?
