Add item to estimate PDF

    Add item to estimate PDF

    I have added "item" to the grid on the edit estimate screen.  I do not understand how to add it to the PDF.  I have downloaded the tool and have customized forms.  I think I just need to add the field to the esimate.estimateline group but unsure how to accomplish this.

    Hi Retrotel,
    Sounds like you're on the right track. To start, I recommend making a copy (save as) of the report "Estimate (Custom)", in case you need to revert to the original. The field you are looking for is under Estimate\EstimateLine.Estimate\Item (see screenshot below). 

    You would drag Item in between Detail1 and DetailReport1, so that is gets included for every line item (see screenshot below). You can format this any way you like.

    This worked perfectly.  I actually modified it a little more by adding a label and an x band line thing for "item".
