    What QB file should I use with the Beta Method account?

    The following question came in via email:

    Hi Val,

    Since I have previously used another edition with my data file, should I disconnect that in QB? and should I redownload the sync engine? I didn’t see any mention of this situation in the forum/instructions


    We have created a new Method account for each of you to sync with a different QB company file while testing. There is no need to reinstall the engine. The steps I suggest are:

    1.    Create a copy of your current QB file with a different name to identify it for testing.
    2.    Make sure the newly created QB file is open.
    3.    Log in to the Method Engine with the new Method account, ID and password.
    4.    Complete the initial sync.

    Your Professional Services Beta account should now be synced with your new QB company file for testing.
