    Method Integration Engine Crashing

    Hello,

    I have been having an ongoing issue with the MIE (Method Integration Engine) crashing while attempting to sync.

    We have been using Method for some time now, but a few months ago I started to notice that the MIE would crash and I would have to kick out all our users, set the file to single-user and attempt to sync again for it to work. That "trick" is no longer working.

    What I'm seeing now is the MIE getting "stuck" on Invoices for almost exactly 15 minutes, and then the application (MIE) crashes. During these 15 minutes, the CPU and Network load on the Quickbooks server is very high.

    I do not see any conflicts published in Method's interface, I have checked our file for errors, rebuilt the file (within QB), restored the file from a portable file (re-indexes the database), but nothing is working.

    Help please.

    Thanks for the reply.

    I have been trying a few things and looks like I may have been able to find a blocking conflict. I will continue to work the problem and update.

    Still having the issue and now getting some odd sync error confilcts, the dates are showing like they happened over a year ago?

    I have already created a support case for you and we tried to reach you but you were not available. For quick support please call on our support line 1-888-925-6238 option 2 for support. Also, please turn on the Method Support user by going to Customize > Users > Method Support and make sure the checkbox is checked.

    Hello Lee,

        Please give the Method support line a call when you have a moment and we can take a look at the sync.  As for the conflicts, you may have some that are old.  They may have occurred and went unnoticed.  In some cases with very old conflicts, it's good to do a Clear All and do a full sync.  Any conflict that comes back is still a conflict and any that do not show again have been resolved.  Also, it's good to have someone in the company check the Resolve Conflicts list once in a while.  This makes sure everything has synced over.

    Hopefully today I'll have a moment to call in, this unfortunetly is happening during our busiest time. As for the conflicts, I have been monitoring the 'Resolve Conflicts' list almost daily, and I had cleared all prior conflicts before attempting to perform the last full sync.
