Change Invoice Name

    Change Invoice Name

    Ok -- I have been sending out my invoices via email.  is there a way to rename the the pdf that is created?  I know I read ina  different post that each file name is uniquly generated so that that it can be robust and secure on your site.  however, could we take away the prefix SimpleInvoice and make it something more genric such as just Invoice?  

     

    Simpleinvoice makes me feel like I'm using some type of free opensource software -- which Method definitely is not - and it does not pass along the message I am trying to send to my customers.

     Hello Hamons,

    SimpleInvoice is the name we had given to the invoice report when we created it. If you would like to change the name then you can copy the SimpleInvoice Report using the Method Report Designer, rename it to whatever you like for instance just Invoice. Then you would want to edit the Print Preview button so that it points to the copied invoice.
