Method Sync Engine Disconnected

    Method Sync Engine Disconnected

    I need some way of correcting and/or being notified when the sync engine on our company QB computer is running but no longer connected. I can't have a couple days go by where transactions are queued up and not syncing to QuickBooks.

    Method Support >> Is there some sort of shell script I can run to poll the sync engine and direct it to connect if it's for some reason disconnected? It might not seem like that big a deal but I shouldn't have to tell my accounting person to remember open up the sync engine app and make sure it's connected before she tries to do her A/R and A/P accounting work on her computer every day.

    Hi Blake,

    Are both the Method Integration Engine and Method Integration Listener certificates installed in QuickBooks, and do they have the requisite permissions? What you're describing is a common symptom of not having the Listener certificate installed / permissioned correctly.
