I have a scree with 10 sections and quite a bit of buttons, fields, grids, action sets, etc in each section. Last week I was doing some housekeeping and went to reorganize the sections and the page reloaded and only the first two sections were visable. After some troubleshooting I realized the sections were still there, just hidden within the html (display:none vs display:inline-table; see below image). Also, when navigating to the view of the screen, the sections where visable and all functionality apeared to work as expected. The only odd thing is that each scetion's title was changed to what I am assuming is a default section title placeholder, ie: section1, section2, etc.

At the time, I thought there may be something odd going on with the tabs functionality (the hidden sections were in tabs). The two that were visible were not.  I changed the setting - Advanced Screen Properties > Section Layout  from 'Show in Tabs ( Tabs start at section 3 )' to 'Show In Sections' - and that did not solve the problem.

I contacted two of your 'Community Support Specialist' and they directed me to this forum.

Also note, there were no errors in the JS console. 

I have more screenshots and can direct a method tech to the appropriate screen, but would rather not post that infomration in a semi-public forum.

You can also send me your company account name and the screen name and I can sign in to your account and take a peek. Just make sure that you have activated the MethodSupport user under Customize > Users by checking the Active box.

This issue looks similar to one that we’ve seen once in the past. We have some steps that may resolve the issue. I tried creating a copy of the screen so that I could test the steps, but the copy only created further issues.

I understand that you spoke with one of our support team members over the phone and they were able to resolve this issue with you.

For future reference, the issue that you were having was that several of your sections had disappeared from the screen designer view of your custom screen. The sections could still be seen on the screen itself. The following steps were taken to resolve the issue:

1) Navigate to the Advanced options of the screen and selecting Show In Sections, as well as unchecking Show First Section To Left Of Screen

2) Saving & Closing, choosing to Publish in the process

3) Viewing the screen

4) Navigating back into the screen designer and clicking Show for all visible sections

5) Saving & Closing, choosing to Publish in the process

6) Viewing the screen

7) Navigating back into the screen designer, where all Sections were once again visible
