Hi Wayne,
You can do this, but you’ll need to perform some very basic screen customization first. The CRM_NewActivity screen contains 2 checkboxes labelled “Email Activity notification?” & “Email Follow-up notification?” in the section of the screen labelled Hidden Section at the very bottom. You will need to select the Show link for the contents to be displayed. Simply drag these checkboxes somewhere into the Add / Edit Activity section so that they are no longer hidden.
Don’t forget to select Hide on the bottom section and then save and publish the screen. These checkboxes will control if an activity notification email or activity follow-up email are sent when the activity is saved. You can even toggle the default status to be checked or unchecked.
