When I assign an activity I get email for me to do it

    When I assign an activity I get email for me to do it

    When I assign an activity to another employee I get email for me to do it.

    It says: 

    Activity

    The following activity has been assigned to you. It may require your attention. To view, update or complete this activity, please visit...

    -------------------------------

    It'd be nice to get a CC which I'm assuming this is. However, could you guys actually put the creator of the activity in the cc of the email being sent out versus in the "TO" field?

    It's hard to decipher between whether i was actually assigned this activity or if I assigned this activity. 

    Please advise.

    Hi There,

    The Activity Notification is sent to both the Assignee and Assigner by default, but only if they are different emails. If you wanted to have your email in the CC field, you could edit the template you are using to include your email address.

    Where do i specify which email templates are use for what type of task?

    Hi There,

    Sorry for the delayed response here, look like I missed your reply. You can specify which templates are used for which type of task (ie Invoices, Estimates, activities etc...) by selecting the Preferences  snapshot of the App you are trying to set the DEfault template for.

    For example, you want to set a particular email template for Sales Orders. you would navigate to your Dashboard, scroll down until you see the Sales Orders Tile, and click on the Preferences snapshot beneath it. From the Preferences screen, you can set which email template is used for Notifications for this app.
