I tried all strings including this one.  Nothing changes.  It changes in other fields but not the Rate field.  

Hi Michael,  I am having exactly the same problem as Hannah described above with the Format String.  I can't get it to change on the Rate field.  I was able to change it on the Total field. Can you tell me if you found a solution for her ?  If so what was it ? Thanks ! Michael

I modified the stock Estimate report.  

My regional settings are set to English Canada and it shows in Euros and the customers setting are also English Canada and it shows in Pounds.  I don't see the logic. Anyhow I did change the Template in Report Designer as you explained and now the Preview no longer works.  Here is the message I get:

Thanks Jason for this pointer.  I am not too sure what to type in the Value field.  If I type as you suggest "Inventory, Service" then the user will see all Inventory items and all Service items?  But I want them to see ALL Service items and only CERTAIN Invetory items.  How does Method know to filter on the Item ...
