I was having a problem with the sync engine so I uninstalled it and am in the process of trying to re-install the sync engine. That is where I am having the issue, there is something blocking the installation of the sync engine. Yes, we have created an integration with a third party app for sending SMS messages. In this case it was for notifiying customers in advance of service and/or service completion.

Sorry to hear you are having troubles!
When the sync engine logs out - are you seeing any errors display in Windows? Is QuickBooks shutting down at all?
You may just need to reinstall the sync engine to get this working again - You can find the complete Uninstall Steps in This Help Centre Article
