OK. Reconfiguring my email worked. Apparently Method doesn't like my Windows Live/Hotmail email account, so I switched to another (Gmail) account and everything worked. Thanks for your help, Amanda!

To try out the customer portal, I added a test customer to QuickBooks, and added the portal to my website. I registerd the customer and received a user name & password. When I signed in to the portal and tried to change my contact information, I received the following error:

Last week my hrad drive failed and I moved my QuickBooks file to a laptop temporarily. When I tried installed the Method engine on the laptop and tried to access my company file, I think I ended up establishing a new user account, and some of the transactions in my Method file appear to have been duplicated.

I received a payment from a customer for 2 invoices, applied the payment to the invoices in QuickBooks, and in QB the customer balance shows as $0. However, in Method the customer still showed a balance due in the customer list. I ran a full sync just to be sure. The customer center shows all of the transactions, but apparently was ...
