I need to make an update to a Method:New screen that is currently working. I made a copy, and did not make any changes at all and tried to execute it. I get errors right away. If I try to edit the screen, I see actions that are blank and objects that have blank entries. I do not know what was there before. I've seen other posts on this forum describing similar situations where a perfectly working screen is now broken.
Since the Live screen IS still working, I do not want to touch it l'est the process of bringing it into an edit session will break the only working version I have. However, I need to know what the fields were previously, that are now blanked out in the "copy" of the screen. Is there a way to get a listing of the live screen so that I can fix the copy and move forward. I want to see the details of every object and every action as it exists on the live version.
As a side note, this is not the first time I've experienced a previously working screen that becomes broken even though no changes have been made. It is extremely frustrating and I am losing confidence in Method. I cannot keep spending hours fixing screens that were working before. I know I'm not alone. How are others handling this? I really like Method, I want to make it work.
