Tablink Error

When clicking on a tab link for a custom version of Budget/Contract screen, I get the following error:
We were unable to resolve your request. Either the screen you are trying to access does not exist, or there was a problem with your request.

Recommended actions:
- If the screen has been replaced or republished by another user of your system. Please try signing out and signing back in.
- If this issue persists, go to Customize > Tab Links, and make sure the Tab Link is correct for this screen.
- Try closing and reopening your browser.
|
I tried all three recommended actions with no luck. I also noticed another user having a problem with a tab link, I wonder if they are related.
Please advise.

Did you try the steps in the other forum post? Below is a slightly modified version of the steps:
- Click Customize > Tabs.
- Scroll down to the tab where this custom tab link is located and click Edit tab links on the right.
- Check to see if the tab link you are clicking has a screen assigned to it, if not select one
- Click Finished Editing Tab Links.
- If a tab link is selected edit the screen associated with the tab link and Publish it again.
Be sure to refresh the tab or click F5.

Hi Michael,
Tried all of those and no luck. I changed the existing Contract/Budget tablink back to the original screen, then added another tablink and assigned it to my custom screen. Republished screen but same error.
It was working fine last week, and I made absolutely no customization changes to my system since then.

It seems to be an issue with the screen iteself and nothing to do with tab links. If you click View on the screen from the screens list you get the same message. I have created a ticket for our development team to look into this. I will update this forum post when I have more info.

Hi Michael,
I see that you have made a copy of my screen which now works, I wish I was notified.
What was the issue, and should I just use the copy you made and move foward?

Michael-
This copy was actually made by our dev team, they had to remove a feature from the screen you created in regards to exporting.
You can use this copied screen for now until we address the issue on your orginal screen.

Actually there was a bunch of functionality removed, so it's best not to use that screen and wait to hear more from us.
