    I am working in the Method Full Blow Addition - we are primarily using the field service portion of the software - the data file has been established for a while - it has been customized but not recently - we are having problems with Method not creating the invoices on the Method side - so it obviously will not move the invoices into QuickBooks.  I read on the forum about a problem with the end loop going through a table instead of a grid.  Unless I am looking in the wroing place I am not seeing that in the create invoice screen.  Is the problem the forum is referring to on the Method Full Blow application or the newer CRM Pro application?

    Suggestions of how to correct this?

    VLocke-

    Are you creating invoices from Work Orders? Are you getting an error message? Does this work on the November version of the site (Click November version at the bottom of the login page)?

    I am attempting to create invoices from work orders or work order lists.  I am not getting any error message.  It appears that the request takes you into a loop.  It does not create the invoice in Method so it cannot sync into QuickBooks.  If you go straight to create invoice in Method it works.  I have tried this in both the December and November versions and I am getting the same result. Thanks for your help.

    For the Job Items within the work order is "On Invoice?" checked?

    I checked and this box was not checked on my test invoices.  Once it was checked it did create the invoices.  Then I got the idea to automate the check box.  It also gave me a choice to delete the check box.  So I deleted the check box.  That initally appeared to be a good idea because now the new boxes are checked and the older ones are checked also.  But now it will not invoice correctly.  So I think I deleted something I should not have deleted.  How can I add it back if I have to to make the system work or how can I invoice the work that has been done but not invoiced yet.  I tested two and they seem to invoice but then they disappear - not amounts on the customer file.

    VLocke-

    Did you delete the checkbox from the grid or from the table itself?

    This might be something that is best addressed by consulting time and since I believe you are an MSP you can contact Val, however if you can provide a bit more details I may be able to help you further.

    Chances are you would have had to remove that field from being used on all screens before you could delete the field on the table. At this point it becomes very difficult for us to assist over the forums because we're left guessing on our end.     VLocke,

    To update this thread, we were able to help you out via consulting time. Smile At your request here is what we went through together.

    You didn't actually delete the field (as per my note above), you simply removed the grid column for 'IsIncludedOnInvoice' To correct this, we added the column back with the exact same name as it had before...that was an easy fix.

    The next part was customization assistance, we made it so that the IsIncludedOnIvoice field was always marked as 'true' when you added or changed a work order job item. This was done through actions.

    Next, at your request we created a new button that would go and update all past records to also be 'true' for IsIncludedOnInvoice.
