Recurring Invoices? What would I do if.....

    Recurring Invoices? What would I do if.....

    I am wanting to create a work order that has a status of "is waiting on someone else"  In my case I am waiting for "Ol Man Winter" or Jack Frost".  The problem is that I need to have a new work order ready and available whenever I complete a route so I can process Time Cards to them.  Preference is a "recurring" work order that is not triggered by a date but triggered by the original Work Orders being scheduled or completed.  The idea is that I can assign the work orders on Monday when it snows and have another set ready for Tuesday (or Monday Night if its bad enough)  How hard would it be to trigger another occurrence of the Work Orders on a route by changing the status of those that "were waiting on someone else" to in progress?

    Hi Michael,

    Do you use Waiting on someone else as the status for this type of job specifically?

    Do you have other jobs where you don't use the Waiting on someone else as the status? If so then this will be more difficult and may require the assistance of a Consultant or Method Solution Provider. Also, are there any other differences with the Work Order created for these types of jobs compared to your other jobs (i.e. the Job Name)?

    It may not work exactly like a recurring series, it would be a single occurrence that get's copied to the same customer but for the next day, if that's when you want it to be scheduled for. Have you ever used the Copy Selected... option under the More Actions... button on the Work Order List screen, and if so is something like this a feasible option for you?
