    Unable to look at a contact

    There seems to be a problem whenever I try to open a particular customer to try and edit them. I have the admin role so there is nothing that I am not able to access, and I still get this message: The record you are trying to load does not exist, or you do not have permission to view it. Once I exit that and once again click on the customer that message appears followed by this:

    In order to stop information from being saved/entered incorrectly, we reccommend refreshing your browser.

    If you have any other active screens open, please save them beforehand to prevent data loss.

    When I refresh it takes me back to the home screen and when I access the customer list and try to go to that customer yet again it pops up with the first message. The customer is still in the list and I can see the contact information that is displayed normally on the customer list. That means that the file does exist right? So is there a way to access this customer?

    Hi Matt123,

    First ensure no one is editing any screens, then regenerate the Entity table followed by the Customer and Contacts tables. Once that's done, log out then log back into Method then see if you can access the record. If not please enable the MethodSupport user and email me the Company Account name (not your user name).

    To regenerate a table go to Customize > Tables/Fields > then click on the appropriate table (i.e. Entity) > then click Finished Editing Fields.

    To enable the MethodSupport user go to Customize > Users > scroll down to the bottom of the screen and enable the Active option for the MethodSupport user.
