details not being kept when a series work order is edited

    Hi,

I'm having a problem with detail from the description box and items not being transferred into a work order which though previously is part of a series, on editing is no longer (becomes a work order outside of the series).

I'm losing fairly crucial operational data when this happens - how do I avoid the loss?

    Hi taurusgardening,

In order to help you address this issue, follow the workflow below to regenerate your Method tables.

    Workflow:

To do this, follow the steps below:

    1. Go to Customize > Tables/Fields
    2. Click on the table you wish to regenerate; alternatively click Edit Fields...
    3. Click the Finished Editing Fields button.

Do this for the following tables:
    1. Activities
    2. ActivityJobItem
    3. Customers
    4. Tenant (This may not be available to you - so do not worry if you cannot see it).

    This should resolve the issue.
If the issue persists, email us your Company Account name and activate the MethodSupport user. To do so, go to Customize>Users and click the Activecheck box next to the MethodSupport user.

    Cheers,
    Nelson
